Useful answers before you call
Pricing, vehicle condition and site access are the details we most often confirm.
01 How much does towing cost in Auckland?
Pricing is quote-based because distance, vehicle type, condition, parking and access vary by job. Share those details by phone or through the quote form so we can confirm the price before work starts.
02 What information do you need for a quote?
Send the pickup, destination if known, vehicle make and model, what has happened, where the vehicle is parked and when you need help. Site photos by SMS or email are also useful.
03 Can you tow lowered cars and prestige vehicles?
Yes. The lie-flat deck supports careful loading of low-clearance, lowered, sports and prestige vehicles and helps reduce clearance risk. Tell us about aftermarket parts, unusual ride height or an EV before dispatch so we can plan the approach.
04 What if the vehicle will not start or go into neutral?
A non-running vehicle may still be suitable for flatbed loading. If it cannot enter neutral, steer, roll or brake, tell us before dispatch because the access, time and equipment needs may change.
05 Can you collect from underground carparks or tight driveways?
These sites need to be assessed first. Share the carpark, ceiling clearance and any gate or access restrictions. We will confirm whether the flatbed can be used safely at that location.
06 Do you tow accident-damaged cars?
Yes. We handle accident recovery and work with the directions given by police or emergency services at the scene. Insurance requirements can vary, so share the relevant details when you call.
07 Can you transport a car outside Auckland?
Yes, by appointment. Provide the pickup, destination and target timing for purchases, deliveries or inter-city moves and we will plan the transport with you.
08 Do I need to be with the vehicle?
Not always. With your authorisation and suitable access, collection and delivery may be possible without you on site. Accident and insurance jobs may have different requirements.
09 Do you speak Chinese?
Yes. You can use the Chinese version of this site and contact Drive1 in Chinese or English.
